Stan Hicks unknowingly initiated GEN(eration) III when he began work in the mechanical insulation industry in 1952. His sons, Gordon and Steven Hicks, followed in his footsteps and worked in the industry for 20 years. In 1997 Stan enjoyed watching the start-up of his sons contracting business—G&S Mechanical Insulation in Montana City, MT. They provided mechanical contractors, engineers, and homeowners with effective solutions and specialty services at competitive prices. In 2017 the torch was passed to Gordon’s son, Josh Hicks. Retaining G&S employees, Josh extends the family commitment to the industry, quality services, and competitive pricing with the launch of GEN III, Inc.
